JOURNEYS REACHES FOR THE SKY
After receiving the accolade of 'Top Travel Insurance Company' at Travel Bulletin's recent Travel Stars 2003 Awards, Journeys Travel Insurance is looking forward to building upon this achievement to further refine both the quality of its product and its service to travel agents.
Patrick Chong, managing director of Journeys Travel Insurance, commented: "This award is a testament of the quality of the product we offer and the service to match. The entire Journeys' team is committed to supporting travel agents and the award is an acknowledgement of their appreciation which we are confident we can build upon.
Over the years Journeys has pioneered many new trends and standards, including the unique 'Daily Rate' product and we have several new initiatives in the pipeline. One such innovation is the launch of a new concept aimed at employers, encouraging them to buy annual travel insurance for their employees through business travel agents.
We have also established strong relationships with travel agents and have introduced training opportunities to help them increase revenue. One of our most significant developments has been the introduction of an Extranet for travel agents, making it possible for agents to sell travel insurance online. This is complemented by an online help desk for agents and online claims and self-declaration forms."
