The Global Travel Group has selected Journeys Travel Insurance as their preferred supplier for Travel Insurance from 23rd April 2007.
The addition of The Global Travel Group business alongside that of other consortiums including Worldchoice and Midconsort makes them one of the leading providers of insurance within the market.

Andrew Botterill, The Global Travel Groups Chief Executive comments: "The decision to appoint Journeys as a preferred supplier is a reflection of the levels of service and quality of product they supply. This in turn will benefit our agents when selling Insurance to customers".

Commenting on being appointed by The Global Travel Group, Journeys Managing Director Patrick Chong said " The quality product and services we offer travel agents was attractive to The Global Travel Group. This is a culmination of recent success for Journeys. The end of 2006 saw Journeys pick up various awards including Best Innovation for online claims at the British Travel Awards. This year looks to be bright, Journeys having already won the Best Travel Insurance Provider at the Globe Awards in January.
